Cindy starting to feel better

IC pain 0 (only in the morning about a 1)

She is taking:
Singulair at night for allergy
Lexapro (5 milligram) - the lowest possible for stress

She is also taking Juice Plus vegetable, and wheatgrass as supplements for her diet in the mornings.

The horrible pain that Cindy was having was the result of a UTI. She had it treated with Macrobid, and that fixed it. Unfortunately for 2 weeks she thought it was the IC and let it go for an "incredible" long time. She is finally recuperating. She is not a 100 percent, but definetely. From now on we will always check to see if it an UTI. The are quick tests at CVS.

One important thing: This last Sunday she was so stressed because one of the girls was upset that she did not sleep most of the night. Next day she had a cold sore, aches, and fatigue. There is no question that stress has a direct impact on Cindy's health. She is now more aware of this, and will keep under control. We also know that the IC has something to do with stress which lower the immune system.

We found Cindy's Issue

Severe UTI

Pain level 6

On Friday I took Cindy to the doctor and she her at 1:15 PM. The doctor indicated that she a severe UTI and could not understand why Cindy has come to see her before. The UTI probably started week and a half ago.

She prescribid macrobid for 7 days, 2 times a day. Today is Sunday morning and she still has pain. It is possible that the UTI irritated the bladdre as well.

She is taking:

Singulair at night
Birth control (changed)
hydrocodene for pain

Sunday - Cindy cries from Pain

Tuesday, March 2nd, Cindy bought some wine coolers and had one before going to bed. Wednesday morning she woke up with pain.

Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday she was with low pain. On Friday morning, she prepared herself hot chocolate. Friday she went out with a friend and kids, and she was with low pain. Saturday she was not perfect, but was able to drive around.

This morning she woke up, and was doing ok (not perfect), but then starting doing laundry and lifting things, and it send her into pain level 10. She is now lying down, and doing ok.

About a month ago she also had severe pain. I had to call my Mom to see if she could take care of her. I need to find out what triggered it.

She took urelle in the morning. She is going completely Spartan.

Cindy meets PA Cyber Friends at Texas History State Museum

Cindy's friends from PA Cyber School are in Austin in a conference. She was invited to the Bob Bullock Texas History State Museum to hang out with the team. Yesterday she met them in downtown Austin, and went for drinks with them.

After 4 months of no bladder pain, she has pain tonight. The usual suspects: She had sausage which she said seem to have had hot pepper. Yesterday she also had frito lay pie which was covered with jalapenos (she said that she removed them).

Last time she had pain was July 26th. We spent the previous night dancing, and then in the morning we went for brunch. I think during brunch she ate something spicy.

As we know hot pepper and jalapenos trigger the allergic reaction. She will go on a Spartan diet for a few days and hopefully get back to normal.

Before today, she has been eating just about anything...including Italian dressing in her salads. Now we need to keep an eye again on her diet.

Cindy Signs up to Gold's Gym

Cindy has been doing very well with the IC. August 3oth, she moved to Texas and quit her job. Since then she has been doing great. A couple of times some pain when she goes on a crusade lifting boxes, cleaning, etc. However, it goes back to no pain quickly.

Yesterday she had her first Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates class. This will be great for her stress.
Today she had her first Pilates class.

Our goal of getting her to unstress, drinking her immune booster juice, and exercising has helped her a lot. She is enjoying life so much.

She is now able to drink carbonated drinks, some sauces with tomatoes, and a variety of other foods. She certainly needs to stay away from hot peppers.

She is off Singulair, and Lexapro - ALL MEDICINES. She still has pain in her neck, but we are trying to address through relaxation and exercise. It is bad habit she has of tensing up her neck.

Cindy is feeling good

Cindy went on a Spartan diet for the last 2 weeks after her horrible experience with the chile soup, and is feeling good again.

She says that she still feels a presence, so she is not 100%. She is getting there.

My theory:

She has this allergic reaction to certain spices that thins out the mucous membrane of the bladder. She then needs to eat bland food for the mucous membrane to rebuild. Why she got this? I think it was an allergic reaction to an antibiotic while she had a UTI.

Good thing is that we know how to control, and are trying to figure it out.
