Woke up a bit earlier today (10:00 AM). Cindy got up at around 9:00 AM. She had a little pain last night. She took urelle. We think it was the vinegar and tomatoes in the Cuban food.

We had french toast, eggs, and bacon for breakfast. The day was cold, but sunny.

7 Pounds

Pain level morning: 0
Pain level afternoon: 0
Pain level night: 2 (took urelle)

It's been lazy days since Christmas. On Friday, Boxing Day, we went to King of Prussia and shopped a little. Cindy dropped her girls with their dad at noon. I got up out of bed at noon.

We went to Java Joes for breakfast - Cindy had eggs and scrapple.
At night she had cookies and milk.

She had medium pain at night and took urelle. In the morning she was fine. She went to bed much later and was with much more energy than when I found her.

I think the pain was due to the cookies.

Christmas Eve 2008

So...Cindy is doing well with her IC. If she doesn't cheat with food, she will have practically 0 days.

3 weeks ago she had blood tests at her regular IC check up (Dr. Jen from Dr. Kristine Whitmore) Yesterday we got the results and it seems that she is fighting some kind of virus that has made her very weak (Chronic Fatigue). Her defenses are very low. The symptoms are similar to the flu. We also think that her defenses got very low after she took antibiotics for 6 weeks - the skin reaction nightmare from a cream she tried on her face for dry skin. By the way, her skin is perfectly clear and beautiful after she stopped putting stuff on her face. It's amazing how some medications make things worst. Now she only puts vitamin E on her face.

So...yesterday we went to buy a juicer, and we prepared the first immune system booster juice. It has apples, carrots, celery, parsley, wheat grass, and cucumber. It did not taste as bad as we thought it was going to. We hope this will get her defenses up, and get that virus out of her system.

My opinion is that all this IC, fatigue, etc. is autoimmune related and came about from the antibiotics she took when she got several UTI's, and messed her immune system. Now we are going natural to have her own body fight this and get stronger.

She is only taking Singulair, Lexapro (5 milligrams), and vitamins.
